As the official partner of the National Care Association, the quality and practicality of its training programs are essential in supporting individual learners through their studies. The Challenge
The company’s current training program was manual and extremely labor-intensive, and the team was largely unfamiliar with using online learning tools. The company had several new courses to roll out and was looking for opportunities to make its courses accessible to more customers through eLearning. They needed a solution that could help them maintain the quality of their training programs without depending on costly external vendors for every minor update. Furthermore, with thousands of learners accessing their training courses on different devices, the company needed a solution that was both responsive and accessible while still maintaining their branding and values.
“Our approach didn’t seem to fit with how usually companies roll out eLearning– contacting and totally depending on external vendors for creating and maintaining eLearning offerings. At the same time, we didn’t have internal resources or skills to create and rollout eLearning ourselves. Luckily, we came across Wizcabin.”

The Solution
After meeting the Access Skills team at our Birmingham office, Wizcabin launched a three-phase implementation plan to get the company producing and managing eLearning courses independently and fast.
Staff Training – Wizcabin’s eLearning team first conducted online sessions for the company to familiarize staff with the Wizcabin platform and eLearning development basics.
Sample Courses – Wizcabin’s eLearning team created an initial set of courses using content provided by Access Skills. Using Wizcabin’s innovative collaboration tools, Access Skills was able access, review and experiment with the course content. Within days, the company’s staff was already confident working on Wizcabin independently and started developing their own courses.
Continued Support – From zero eLearning background just days earlier, the Access Skill’s team developed over 20 courses using Wizcabin in just a few days. To ensure smooth course creation, updates and roll-out, Wizcabin provided continued support and communication throughout the entire process.
“Wizcabin is so easy to use. Course authoring is easier than creating content. We had absolutely no technical background or eLearning design skills, but once we started off, the team picked it up quickly and now we can update and manage our courses inhouse, reducing our operation costs and avoiding dependency on external vendors completely”
